Zhala
Manager
Zhala grew up in Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan in a trilingual family, an experience that shaped her appreciation for language, cultural diversity, and inclusive education.
She trained as a language teacher at Azerbaijan University of Languages and spent five years teaching German to secondary school students. In 2022 she moved to London and began working in a German kindergarten, where she found her place in early years, supporting young children as they learn, play and find their voice in more than one language. Alongside her work, she completed a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Management at the University of Dundee, finishing with outstanding results.
For Zhala, the most important thing is that every child feels safe, happy and truly known. She believes children learn best through play, curiosity and warm relationships, and she loves helping them grow in confidence and independence.

Emily
Emily grew up in Scotland and still speaks Scots with some of her family members. She has worked with children since the age of 12, often supporting children with disabilities. Through these experiences, she has developed extensive knowledge of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and the strategies that help children thrive.
Emily is particularly passionate about communication and values all the different ways children express themselves. She loves seeing their progress, from pointing at something that catches their attention to naming it, asking for it politely and eventually sharing their thoughts in more detail. Working with children has also taught her to appreciate the little things in life, whether it’s discovering an interesting plant or admiring a colourful flower.
Emily studied German and Linguistics at the University of Oxford, where she developed a particular interest in literature, especially the works of Kafka and Bachmann, as well as films from the Berlin School.
